Matthew D. Burke 1975-2020

Matthew was born on May 24, 1975, in Youngstown. He was a graduate of Struthers High School, class of 1994.

Matthew devoted his life to being a GREAT father in so many ways. He was a passionate and loving person. Matt had a strong work ethic and was employed as a deli manager at Road Runner Food Mart. Matt would put maximum effort into anything he did.

Matthew enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, camping, watching TV shows (“Game of Thrones”), movies, playing video games (World of Warcraft), spending time with his dog, Chica, and he was a hardcore Browns fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Burke; his brother, Jeremy; and his brother, Jason.

Cherished memories will be carried on by his two sons, Tyler Burke and Demian Matthew Burke; his fiancee, Misty Young of 11 years; Dylan (Courtney), Emma, and grandbaby, Jarden; his aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends. Matthew will be so missed by so many. He touched everyone he ever came in contact with. He was taken too soon, but he will always be in our hearts and forever missed.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., with a service to follow at the Borowski Memorial Home, 30 Ridge Road, Newton Falls, OH 44444.
