Jacob S. Leggett 2003-2020
NILES — Jacob Stewart Leggett, 17, of Niles, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center, following an automobile accident.
He was born July 10, 2003, in Youngstown, the son of Hasper O. Leggett Sr. and Shawna Bortmas.
Jacob spent a lot of time working at his father’s business, JNH Trucking. He was an 11th grade student at Howland High School and attended Eastside Church of Christ.
Survivors include his father and mother, Jill Reynolds, both of Niles; his biological mother of Youngstown; brothers, Hasper O. Leggett Jr. of New York, N.Y., Preston Reynolds of Palmbay, Fla., Bret Bortmas and John Kaczmark Jr., both of Youngstown; and sisters, Janeata Leggett of Struthers, Adrian Mallory of Jacksonville, Fla., Erica Bortmas, Cheyenne Kaczmark and Cherokee Kaczmark, all of Youngstown.
He was preceded in death by two grandmothers.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020, at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Chapel.
A private funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel, where masks are required and social distancing will be upheld.
Burial will be in Jerusalem AME Church Cemetery, Hemingway, S.C.
