Earl C. Rupert 1943-2020
WARREN — Earl C. “Butch” Rupert, 78, died 10:47 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020, at home.
He was born June 6, 1943, in Milton, Pa., the son of William Kenneth and Mary Magdalene Lester Rupert. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era. He was employed with Van Huffel and then worked at Delphi Packard Electric.
Survivors include his children, Kimberly Ehlke of Gaylord, Minn., and William K. Rupert II and Rachel Dunn, both of Warren; his brother, Jack Lester of Tunnelton, W.Va.; a sister, Joani Jiannine of Yelleville, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Harvey; and two brothers.
A memorial service is expected to take place in the spring 2021. Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, Warren.
