ODOT announces road adjustments

The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced several road closures and lane adjustments for various projects in Trumbull MCounty:

Beginning Thursday, the following restrictions will be in place through late October for state Route 46 intersection improvements in Howland:

• Traffic on Route 46 southbound will not be able to turn onto East Market Street eastbound. The detour will be Route 46 south to state Route 82 east to Howland Wilson Road to East Market Street.

• Traffic on Route 46 northbound will not be able to turn onto East Market Street westbound. The detour will be Route 46 south to state Route 82 east to Howland Wilson Road to East Market Street.

• Traffic on East Market Street westbound will not be able to turn left onto Route 46 southbound. The detour will be Howland Wilson Road to Route 82 west to Route 46.

• In a separate project, Route 46 from north of East Market Street to state Route 5 in Bazetta and Cortland has various lane restrictions for resurfacing. The estimated completion is mid-September.

• State Route 193 between Gardner Barclay and Davis Peck Roads is now open, but starting May 19, Route 193 just north of Wakefield Creek Road will be closed through early June for resurfacing. The detour will be state Route 87 to state Route 11 to U.S. Route 322.
