John Biggins 1928-2018
AVON LAKE — John Biggins, M.D., 90, of Avon Lake, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, in Cleveland.
He was born Feb. 9, 1928, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, a son of Hugh Biggins and Agnes McCullough.
John is survived by his sons, John Peter, Paul (Nora) and Patrick (Sandra), and a daughter, Dr. Monique Richardson (Dr. William Stanton); his daughter-in-law, Monique Biggins; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his sister, Zita Dornan.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Annette deBeir; his son, Brian Biggins; his brothers, Hugh and Robert Biggins; and his sister, Josephine Watson.
A funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at the Holy Spirit Church, 410 Lear Road, Avon Lake. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the McGorray-Hanna Funeral Home of Westlake, 25620 Center Ridge Road, West of Columbia.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon.
