Richard N. Latimer

HOWLAND — Richard N. Latimer, 34, of Howland, passed away in the early morning on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017.

Richard was born Oct. 14, 1982, in Youngstown, the son of Richard H. and Suzanne Schindell Latimer.

He attended Struthers School System. He was employed at 82 Auto Wrecking as a laborer and enjoyed helping his father at the family waste disposal business.

Mr. Latimer loved collecting and working on Chevrolet Monte Carlos. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers fan. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers when he had the chance. Most important, he was a loving father and cherished the moments he spent with his children.

He is survived by his wife, Candice Devellin Latimer, whom he married Nov. 9, 2012; three daughters, Riley Latimer of Howland, Courtney Lawernson of New Mexico and Cierra Shonce of Youngstown; a son, Andrew Devellin of Warren; his mother, Suzanne (Paul Sr.) Reitz of Niles; his father, Richard H. (Jennifer) Latimer of Masury; seven sisters, Janey (Curtis) Foltz of Hermitage, Rebecca (Anthony) Latimer of Howland, Jennifer (Jason) Latimer of Girard, Krissy (Brandon) Reese of Columbus, Kayla Latimer of Hermitage, Sarah (fiance, Mike Simon) Reitz of Niles and Jonelle Sanders of Masury; four brothers, Steven (Kendra) Latimer and Travis Reitz, both of Niles, Derek (fiancee, Megan) Sanders of Girard and Paul Reitz Jr. of Niles; paternal grandmother, Harriet Latimer of Austintown; and stepgrandmother, Thelma Reitz.

Richard was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard H. Latimer; and stepgrandparents, Ed and Mary Reitz.

Calling hours will be 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC, 614 Warren Ave., Niles, OH 44446. A funeral service will be 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Curtis Miller, pastor of New Hope United Methodist Church, officiating.
