Donna M. Ayers

Donna was born Sept. 25, 1948, in Sharon, Pa., the daughter of Raymond and Cecilia Chavara Gilliland.

She was a 1967 graduate of Sharon High School and found employment at Packard Electric for 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed making afghans and quilts, flower gardening and going to Mountaineer. She also enjoyed going to Sprint car races and watching Nascar, especially her favorite driver, Jeff Gordon.

Donna will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 44 years, Larry Ayers, whom she married Oct. 2, 1971; her sister, Debbie (Ronald) Radford of Sharon, Pa.; her nephew, Joseph (Barb) Radford of West Middlesex, Pa.; her aunt and godmother, Mary Jane Chavara of Sharon; and aunt, Emily (Ray) Scelsi of Vienna; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her two labs, Kloey and Zoey.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service for Donna will be 4 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Lane Family Funeral Homes-Madasz Chapel in Brookfield. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
