The Rev. Dwaine A. Trump 1946-2014
WARREN – The Rev. Dwaine A. Trump, 67, of Warren, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at St. Joseph Health Center, with his family by his side.
Dwaine was born Dec. 3, 1946, in Clarksville, Tenn., the son of the late William and Birdie Paige Trump.
He married Darlene K. Sharlock Trump on Oct. 11, 2003.
Dwaine served as the minister of Newton Falls First Church of the Nazarene for 16 years before his retirement.
He attended the Niles First Church of the Nazarene, was a foster father to 47 children, and enjoyed driving an Amish taxi.
He leaves behind his wife of 10 years, Darlene Trump of Warren; two sons, Ricky L. Trump of Lexington, Ky., and Lucas Cline of Girard; four daughters, Rachel Trump of East Liverpool, Susan (William) Jarvis of Youngstown, Ranisha Bruner of Warren and Christine Cline of Warren; and nine grandchildren. Also surviving Dwaine are a brother, Jed (Barb) Griffin of Clarksville, Tenn.; and three sisters, Dee Dee Gibbs of Clarksville, Tenn., Marsha (Dale) Putnam of Springfield, Tenn., and Laura (David) Rush of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Dwight Trump, Kent Trump, Trent Trump and Jim Griffin; and his aunt and uncle, Mary and Hallie Boren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Niles First Church of the Nazarene, where the Rev. Keith Carr will officiate. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
Entombment will be in Pineview Memorial Park.
