Police activity reported Jan. 1-30:

Jan. 30 — Officers assisted an outside agency by responding to a residence in the township to deliver a message.

Jan. 15 — Officers assisted with a one-car crash with entrapment, but no injury. Officers assisted the elderly driver safely back to his Newton Falls home.

Jan. 14 — Officers responded to assist Newton Falls police with an in-progress burglary. Officers assisted with searching the building, but were unable to locate the suspect.

Jan. 14 — Officers responded to a chaotic domestic dispute on Braceville Robinson Road and brought it to a peaceful resolution.

Jan. 12 — Officers recovered a stolen enclosed trailer containing various tools and returned it to its owner.

Jan. 1 — Officers were led on a short vehicular pursuit by a wanted subject that ended in a foot chase on state Route 5 near the Falls Inn. Officers apprehended the suspect. No persons were injured and no property was damaged.
