Police activity reported Nov. 13-Dec. 7:

Dec. 7, 5:40 p.m. — Menacing reported after a woman came to the police station to report that her ex-boyfriend made threats to burn her house down. She said her ex-boyfriend’s dog is also still with her and another person was going to get it.

Nov. 30, 12:08 a.m. — Verbal dispute reported at 41 W. Broadway St. after a man and woman inside a vehicle in a parking lot were arguing. Police found the woman crying, but she said she was not threatened.

1:37 a.m. — Police conducting a check of Zavara Auto Sales on South State Street found an open and unsecured door. Police found pry marks on the frame of the door and near the dead bolt. An owner arrived to check and found nothing missing.

Nov. 19, 10:20 a.m. — A man accidentally shot himself at 424 Idaho Ave. When police arrived, they found the man conscious and breathing. The man told police he was barely bleeding but paramedics arrived and transported him to the hospital. Blood was found on the floors of the house. A rifle was found inside the garage. A woman arrived at the home and told police the man was upset about his job.

Nov. 13, 9:13 a.m. — Police checked on the welfare of a resident at Brianna Place on Stull Avenue after people were concerned about a man who lived there. The man opened his apartment to police, who found him to be OK.
