Aug. 28, 4:30 a.m. — Criminal damaging reported at 1358 Gilbert Drive after man reported a woman had thrown items around inside the house and stole a bank card.
12:55 a.m. — Animal complaint reported at 2140 state Route 46 after a dead dog was found on the road. The owner of the dog was located to pick up the body.
Aug. 27, 3:59 p.m. — Theft reported at 1 Ohio Machinery Blvd after a man reported a man used fake information and identification to steal equipment. The equipment was later returned.
Aug. 26, 11 a.m. — Identity theft reported at 338 Edgewater Pines Drive after a woman reported being scammed about a virus on her computer.
Aug. 25, 1:23 p.m. — Assault reported at 122 10th St. after a woman told police a man and woman came to her trailer to take a kitten.
11:27 a.m. — Theft reported at 20 Youngstown Warren Road after an employee of Dollar General saw a woman stealing $53 worth of items at the store.
Aug. 24, 6:29 a.m. — Hit skip reported at Petro Truck Stop after the driver of a vehicle parked at the fuel pump had his vehicle hit by another vehicle.
3 a.m. — Criminal damage reported at 1458 Blunt St. after a man reported the rear window of his home was damaged and broken.
Aug. 22, 8:48 p.m. — Domestic reported at 2887 Tibbetts Wick Road after two females were in a physical argument inside a house.
6 p.m. — Theft reported at 1 Petro Place after a stolen semi truck was recovered. A truck driver told Austintown police the truck was taken while parked in Weathersfield over the weekend and he was able to “ping” its location on his cellphone.
8:14 a.m. — Suspicious person reported at 1573 state Route 169 after police saw a man working on a vehicle and then after police returned to the area, the man had left.
Aug. 21, 10:32 a.m. — Theft from a vehicle reported at 2200 Bellwood Avenue after a catalytic converter had been cut off a parked vehicle.
Aug. 20, 5:56 p.m, — Theft reported at 1242 Deforest Road after a woman reported her son stole $400 from inside the home.
Aug. 19, 8:45 p.m. — Theft reported at 2786 Salt Springs Road after a woman parked at Pilot Service Station had her wallet taken from inside a vehicle.
Aug. 17, 11:21 a.m. — Theft reported at 2938 Tibbetts Wick Road after a man had several firearms taken from inside his truck. Police later recovered the firearms on the side of the road in Liberty.
12:01 a.m. — Report of a large fight and gunshots fired at the United Steelworkers Hall on Main Street. When police arrived, multiple vehicles were fleeing the scene. A shell casing was found in the parking lot. A witness told police there was a large fight in the parking lot and one gunshot was heard.
Aug. 16, 3:04 p.m. — Unwanted person reported at 4022 Evaline St. after a woman reported a man she knew got into her home and would not leave.
Aug. 15, 1:44 a.m. — Breaking and entering reported at 1435 Ohltown Road after a man saw two people outside placing items inside the back of a vehicle and then left the area at a high rate of speed.
Aug. 14, 9:01 p.m. — Domestic reported at 2861 state Route 46 after a man and woman were arguing. The man had thrown items and the woman had a knife in her hands when police arrived.
8:04 p.m — Theft reported at 2896 Carver Niles Road after a man reported someone stole 100 pounds of copper from the property.
Aug. 12, 12 a,m. — Criminal mischief reported at 2901 Tibbetts Wick Road after a vehicle was found damaged with four tires slashed.
12:04 p.m. — Child endangering reported at 2514 Beech St. after a 3-year old child was found riding a bike unattended. Police spoke to the mother of the child who told police she was taking a nap and an older child was supposed to be watching the younger child.
Aug. 11, 6:41 p.m. — Harassment reported at 3071 Judyth St after a woman reported someone was sending inappropriate pictures of her
4:34 a.m. — Domestic reported at 4084 Evaline St. after a man and woman were arguing. The woman told police she was punched in the eye.
