Man faces OVI, child endangerment charges in Liberty

LIBERTY — A Youngstown man who blew nearly three times over the legal limit with two children in the car over the weekend made an appearance in court. Billy Hendrix, 45, pleaded not guilty to two charges of DUI, child endangerment and a misdemeanor charge in front of Girard Municipal Court Judge Jeffery Adler Monday morning. Data center ban fails to make fall ballot

A proposed constitutional amendment to ban all large-scale data centers in Ohio will not be on this fall’s general election ballot as organizers of the campaign had hoped. Conserve Ohio, the group sponsoring the campaign, has failed to gather the required 413,000 valid signatures on petitions to qualify for the Nov. 3 ballot.
