County plans to pass jail contract with Warren
WARREN — The Trumbull Commissioners are expected on Wednesday to pass a proposed three-year contract with Warren to provide jail services in which the city will pay the county $500,000 this year, $515,000 in 2027 and $530,450 in 2028 to house its prisoners. The new contract will be a substantial increase from the amount the city paid the county in 2025, which was $450,000. Warren has not paid the county any money to house its prisoners since the beginning of the year because a new contract had not been established.
