Bazetta park board, Logan’s Landing partner for park projects

BAZETTA — The Bazetta Park Board and the Logan’s Landing Project will be partnering to do fundraising for projects at the township park where Imagination Station is located. Township trustees at the July meeting approved entering into a community partnership with Logan’s Landing for future grant and funding opportunities. Appointment made to fill Howland Park board seat

HOWLAND — Alex Cornicelli has been appointed to fill an opening on the Howland Park Board with the recent death of Allen Seman, who served for several years. Cornicelli was appointed recently by Trumbull County Probate Judge James Fredericka and will serve through December 2027. “I have always been a resident of Howland Township and played a variety of different sports here at the park. Warrant issued for man evading police LIBERTY — A warrant was issued through Girard Municipal Court for Shane Link, 31, of Youngstown, on a charge of obstructing official business Wednesday morning. According to a police report, officers were notified by an anonymous caller Monday that Link, with whom officers are familiar, was staying in a Motel 6 hotel room, with officers also noting that he had felony warrants and a history of resisting arrest.
