WARREN — City officials are happy to have the Warren Kiwanis Turkey Trot coming to Warren this Thanksgiving, Nov. 26. It is one of several races coming to the city this year. Turkey Trot race director Ted Rupe said having the finish line in Mollenkopf Stadium at Warren G. Harding High School will offer amenities such as stadium seating and a video board to display runners as they finish the race. Bristol will address cemetery obelisk
BRISTOL - Township officials are planning to address the 15-foot obelisk at the Sager Pioneer section of the North Bristol Cemetery that officials are afraid will fall over because of its age and condition. Trustees last month discussed the obelisk with plans to take it down and lay it on the ground. Officials said work would not exceed $1,600 to take it down.
