WARREN — No charges will be filed against police officers who shot and killed a domestic violence suspect Oct. 12 in front of 681 Fourth St. SW in Warren, according to Trumbull County Prosecutor Dennis Watkins. WARREN — City council on Monday received proposals to redraw the city’s seven ward boundaries for the first time in more than three decades. Council is seeking to correct population imbalances that reach nearly 41% between some districts and bring the city into compliance with state and federal equal representation requirements. Liberty police respond to pair of thefts

LIBERTY — Township police were busy over the weekend, responding to a break-in and an attempted break-in on the same street. According to a police report, officers responded to an Overbrook Avenue residence Saturday for a breaking and entering that wasn’t in progress. The resident told officers that people he didn’t know had forced entry into his detached garage and shop around 4 a.m. that morning and took several items. WARREN — A judge ordered a Warren man accused of firing shots at men on Monday to be held without bond. Jveeti Street, 41, pleaded not guilty to two charges of felonious assault in front of Warren Municipal Court Judge Natasha Natale Tuesday morning. According to a police report, an officer was called to the area of Woodview Circle and Cranwood Drive for shots being fired. Cortland enacts 1-year ban on data centers

CORTLAND — The city is the latest community to address data centers as council on Monday gave emergency passage to placing a one-year moratorium on them.
