Enbridge names new CEO

Enbridge Inc., a North American natural gas supplier, announced Monday that Greg Ebel will retire as president and chief executive officer effective Dec. 31 and that Michele Harradence has been appointed to succeed him Jan. 1. Harradence is currently Enbridge’s executive vice president and president, gas distribution and storage. LIBERTY — A Sharon man faces charges after Liberty police said they observed him committing multiple traffic violations and striking a divider Saturday. David Gammon, 44, pleaded not guilty to two charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and a charge of open container in front of Girard Municipal Court Judge Jeffery Adler on Tuesday morning. Paper seeks nominations for Twenty Under 20

WARREN — The Tribune Chronicle is seeking nominations for its 14th annual Twenty Under 20 program. The newspaper will recognize 20 high-achieving individuals younger than 20 for their leadership skills through volunteerism, extracurricular activities and academic achievements. 3 Warren teenagers arrested in shooting near Canfield Fairgrounds

Staff report CANFIELD — Three teenage boys from Warren were arrested following an incident that happened near the Canfield Fairgrounds on Fairground Boulevard Sunday night. The teens were detained following an extensive search by dozens of law enforcement officers, according to Canfield police Chief Chuck Colucci. A call about the shooting came in just before 11:30 p.m. after the fair was closed. The search involved 15 Canfield officers, 20 Mahoning County sheriff deputies and several K-9 units, he said.
