Two acquitted in murder of Warren man in Cleveland

Two men charged in the death of Juvar King Sr. of Warren were acquitted Friday of the most serious charges in his murder, but were found guilty on lesser charges of arson and tampering with evidence. Proceedings wrapped up Friday after a weeklong trial in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. Nathaniel Crockett, 29, of Cleveland, and John L. Armstrong, 51, of Warren, were found guilty of arson and tampering with evidence. Woman’s appeal denied

The 11th District Court of Appeals has upheld the conviction of Tabitha Dunch, who was sentenced to an indefinite prison term of four to six years on Oct. 23 for felony convictions of drug and firearm possession. 11th District Judges Robert J. Patton, Matt Lynch and Eugene A. Lucci rejected Dunch’s appeal, stating the trial court made no error in applying factual findings to governing law. Interactive map now available for Pioneer Cemetery

WARREN — The Trumbull County Historical Society, in partnership with Youngstown State University’s Center for Applied GIS, has launched an interactive ArcGIS StoryMap for Pioneer Cemetery.
