WHAT: City Council meeting Monday.

PRESENT: Michael Mogg, Bonnie Viele, Robin Zambrini, Lisha Pompili-Baumiller, Michael Kerr, Jerome Crowe and Jonathan Rose.

ABSENT: Ryan Hallapy.

Council:

• Passed legislation authorizing consent, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 5521.01, to the Ohio Department of Transportation for the North Main Street Bridge maintenance project.

• Gave first reading to an ordinance amending appropriations in the 2026 budget and declaring an emergency.

• Gave first reading to a resolution authorizing the city’s board of control to enter into an agreement with the county for indigent defense services from Jan. 1, 2026 through Dec. 31, 2026.

• Gave first reading to a resolution authorizing the city’s board of control to enter into a contract with Motorola Solutions for the purchase of MARCS radios for the Hubbard City Police Department and declaring an emergency.
