Warren man pleads to sixth OVI charge

WARREN — A city man pleaded guilty Tuesday to his sixth OVI charge since 2009.

Rock A. Ogletree, 63, of Lynn Place NW, pleaded guilty to a fourth-degree OVI felony. The conviction also carried repeat OVI offender specification as well as the forfeiture of a 2023 Ford Bronco.

As a repeat offender, Ogletree faces a mandatory prison term of between one and five years, a minimum $1,350 fine and up to a lifetime driver’s license suspension. On July 16, 2025, Warren police found Ogletree passed out behind the wheel of the Bronco at the intersection of Parkman Road and Summit Street NW. Ogletree refused to take any sobriety tests.

He previously had OVI convictions in 2020 and twice in 2024 in Warren Municipal Court, 2015 in Portage County court and 2009 in Trumbull County Central District Court, court records show. Ogletree will be sentenced after undergoing a background investigation.
