Two men indicted in shooting death of 16-year-old

WARREN — Two men have been indicted in the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy last week on Mahoning Avenue in Warren.
Ashaud Johnson and Willis Smith IV, both 18, were indicted by a Trumbull County grand jury Wednesday in the shooting death of 16-year-old Da’Mar McKinney of Youngstown.
Smith is charged with aggravated murder with a firearm specification and tampering with evidence. Johnson is charged with aggravated murder with a firearm specification and two counts of tampering with evidence.
Johnson is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday and Smith on Wednesday, according to court records. They are both being held without bond in the Trumbull County jail.
McKinney was found Feb. 11 outside an apartment complex off Mahoning Avenue with a gunshot wound. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital, but died the next day.
The grand jury also indicted 38 other people, including one person who was secretly indicted. Their name and charges will be released once they are arrested. Those indicted are:
• Lisa Layne, 65, of Burnett Road, Leavittsburg, attempted aggravated arson.
• Johnnie Williams, 52, Fifth Street SW, possession of heroin and possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
• Brian D. Williamson, 23, Randolph Street NW, possession of cocaine, tampering with evidence and misdemeanor obstructing official business.
• Jackkeem Manigault, 21, Cooper Street, Youngstown, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, aggravated menacing, discharge of firearm on/near prohibited premises, criminal damaging/endangering and aggravated possession of drugs.
• Andrew J. Hankins, 26, Newton Tomlinson Road, obstructing official business, vandalism, resisting arrest and OVI.
• Joseph D. Sechler, 46, Eastland Avenue SE, possession of cocaine.
• Stacy Leigh Moore-Noel, 40, North Park Avenue Extension, 12 counts each of theft of drugs, illegal processing of drug documents and forgery.
• Jacquelyn B. Jue, 34, Sheridan Avenue, assault.
• Robert E. Terbovich, 55, Parkwood Drive NW, felony theft, illegal use/possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor theft and criminal mischief.
• Benjamin A. Male, 37, state Route 5, Newton Falls, aggravated possession of drugs.
• Dominic Morgan, 34, Trumbull Avenue, Girard, failure to comply with order/signal of police officer and aggravated possession of drugs.
• Joseph P. Campbell, 33, Mahan Denman Road, North Bloomfield, failure to comply with the order/signal of a police officer.
• Marshawn D. Anderson, 25, Robinwood Avenue, Youngstown, failure to comply with the order/signal of a police officer, criminal mischief and OVI.
• Robert Maiden, 40, Bonnie Brae Avenue NE, domestic violence.
• Lena Millard, 28, Maplewood Avenue, Struthers, possession of cocaine and aggravated possession of drugs.
• Jo’El Ferrer, 20, Feederle Drive SE, carrying concealed weapons.
• Jason Law, 46, Denson Avenue SW, two counts, domestic violence.
• Antwuan D. Gunther, 41, Farrell, Pa., OVI w/specification for forfeiture.
• Brent J. Allen, 18, Reeves Road NE, Warren, aggravated arson.
• Anthony J. Ball, 31, Scott Street NE, possession of cocaine.
• Dolishah Spivey, 36, Pasadena Avenue, Youngstown, illegal conveyance of drugs onto grounds of governmental facility and possession of drugs.
• Keith Black, 37, Southern Correctional Facility, illegal conveyance of drugs onto grounds of governmental facility, tampering with evidence and possession of drugs.
• Alexander W. Hinkle, 32, Fairview Avenue, Cortland, possession of cocaine.
• James G. Sgro, 77, Butler, Pa., passing bad checks and forgery.
• Megan M. Thompson, 40, Albright McKay Road NE, Brookfield, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of cocaine.
• James T. Fuell, 54, East River Street, Newton Falls, aggravated robbery and felonious assault.
• Dontay L. Miller, 19, East Wilson Avenue, Girard, trespass in a habitation.
• Takia VanPelt, 31, East Boston Avenue, Youngstown, burglary and possession of cocaine.
• Darrell A. Trimble, 37, Elmhill Drive, possession of cocaine and illegal use/possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Rae’Kwon Rodgers, 29, Southwest Boulevard NW, aggravated possession of drugs, having weapons while under disability, tampering with evidence and carrying concealed weapons.
• Gregory Hackett, 68, Lindberg Street, Masury, possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
• Jason W. Deshetler, 44, Stoneybrook Drive, Hubbard, having weapons while under disability and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.
The following misdemeanor cases were remanded to a lower court:
