NILES — The Trumbull County Educational Service Center hosted a District Leadership Workshop last week that brought together superintendents, treasurers and school board members from Girard, Liberty, Howland, Maplewood, Champion, Bristol, Niles, McDonald, Trumbull Career & Technical Center (TCTC) and Weathersfield.

The event focused on strengthening district leadership through professional learning and collaboration among key administrative and governance teams. During the workshop, districts received important legal updates to help leaders remain informed on current laws, responsibilities and best practices related to school operations and governance.

Attendees also heard from the Impact Group, who presented on the role of branding in education and how clear, consistent branding can strengthen district identity, improve communication and build trust with school communities.

TCESC Superintendent Robert Marino emphasized the gathering’s importance.

“This workshop is essential for our districts and a great opportunity to grow and collaborate for the benefit of our students,” he said.

The District Leadership Workshop reinforced TCESC’s commitment to supporting school districts by providing professional development opportunities that encourage collaboration and shared learning across Trumbull County.
