Newspaper writer gets OSBA award
Sean Barron of Poland, a correspondent for The Vindicator and Tribune Chronicle, was presented with an award from the Ohio School Boards Association at a recent meeting of the Youngstown City School District.
Barron was named to the OSBA’s Media Honor Roll and was given a framed certificate. The certificate reads “Youngstown City recognizes Sean Barron for fair and balanced education reporting, and exemplary service to our community.”
It is signed by 2025 OSBA President Thomas Patterson and 2025 Youngstown Board of Education President Juanita Walker.
