Crews battle barn fire in Fowler
FOWLER — Several fire departments were called out Saturday evening to a barn fire in Fowler.
Crews received a call about the structure fire after 8 p.m. on Sodom Hutchings Road.
Assisting Fowler at the scene were crews from Vienna, Cortland, Youngstown Air Reserve Station and Brookfield.
The Fowler Fire Department social media site reports when crews arrived, the barn was fully engulfed in flames, and one car was as well.
There were no injuries reported.
An unknown number of chickens perished in the fire, but no other livestock was believed to have been lost.
