Commissioners, 911 employees agree to new 3-year contract
WARREN — Trumbull County commissioners approved a three-year contract with its 911 union employees that will increase wages by 4% in 2026, 3% in 2027 and 3% in 2028.
The contract also has a $1 equity adjustment to employee salaries this year. Commissioners approved the contract during their Jan 14 meeting. The contract began Jan. 1 and ends Dec. 31, 2028.
The clothing allowance for full-time employees has been increased from $1,000 to $1,500 and for part-time employees from $400 to $650. Trumbull 911 employees also can qualify for perfect attendance incentives of $350 per quarter, which is up from $275 per quarter.
Also, employees will now receive disciplinary letter copies by email and hand delivery, rather than by certified mail.
