YOUNGSTOWN — The city and Liberty Township are hosting a public open house at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, as part of an ongoing corridor improvement strategy supporting the Build Better Belmont Initiative.

The public will be able to hear directly from project consultants, learn about the study’s goals and progress, and share thoughts to help shape the future of Belmont Avenue.

The study aims to enhance the area for neighbors, diners, shoppers and travelers.
