NILES — The newest branch of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library is set to open at 10 a.m. today in a storefront inside the Eastwood Mall.

The Eastwood Mall Library will be located in a 2,500-square foot storefront in the JCPenney concourse, just steps from the children’s indoor play area and across from Mercy Health St. Joe’s at the Mall.

The new library will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday and will offer a wide selection of books, movies and other library materials, internet-accessible computers and printers for public use, and programming for children, teens and adults.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration will be noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 13, featuring a “Lilo & Stitch” storytime, live ukulele music and free activities.
