Youngstown man nets prison in robbery
YOUNGSTOWN — A 44-year-old Youngstown man was sentenced to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony robbery charge.
Robert Elias, of Edgewater Drive, admitted in the courtroom of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Cynthia Westcott Rice to robbing a U-Haul outlet on Main Avenue NW on Feb. 23.
Prosecutors said Elias threatened an employee by claiming he had a firearm, stole $100, and fled the scene. He was arrested later that day.
The guilty plea was entered June 18.
