Warren man sentenced for child sex abuse material
WARREN — A 46-year-old Warren man was sentenced Monday to an indefinite prison term of two to three years after pleading guilty to charges involving child sexual abuse material, authorities said.
Philip Stouffer, of Plaza Avenue NE, entered guilty pleas June 11 to three counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor and two counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, according to court records.
In addition to the prison sentence, Stouffer was classified as a Tier 2 sexual offender, requiring him to register with the sheriff’s office twice a year for 25 years.
The case stemmed from a November investigation by the Warren City Police Department, prompted by a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children task force in Cuyahoga County.
