VERNON — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal one-vehicle rollover crash in Vernon Friday evening that left a Kinsman man dead.

A report states that Raphael Klemencic, 69, of Kinsman, was killed in the crash that happened just after 8 p.m. Klemencic was driving eastbound in a 2019 Ford Escape on state Route 5 in Vernon when he drove off the road, hit a tree and his SUV flipped over near the intersection of Bushnell Campbell Road, the patrol report states.

Johnstown Township fire and EMS were dispatched at 8:08 p.m. to the location and took Klemencic to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, where he later died.
