WHAT: Board of Education meeting Monday.
PRESENT: Anna Martin, William Cummings, Josh Barr, Donald Newell and Amanda O’Neill
The board:
• Accepted the following donations: $150 from Beth McMullin to the district’s food services, divvied as $50 to each school in the district; $2,000 from the Hubbard Class of 1974, divvied out as $500 to HHS Greenhouse Supplies, $500 to Hubbard Elementary School First Grade, $500 to the Hubbard Community Pool, $300 to the district’s food pantry and $200 to the HHS Art department; $1,000 from Braydich Dental (Molar, Inc.) to the district’s food pantry.
• Approved a Master Services Agreement between the district and the Trumbull County Educational Service Center, effective July 1, 2025.
• Approved a contract between the district and the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities for Student Aide Services for the 2025-26 school year.
• Approved a two-year administrative contract to K-8 Assistant Principal Sarah Herrholtz, effective Aug. 18 through July 31, 2027.
• Accepted Ross Stoffer’s resignation for retirement, effective June 1, 2026.
• Accepted Heather Whitman’s resignation for retirement, effective Sept. 1, 2026.
• Approved Kayla Welsh for the Hubbard High School home instruction tutor position, 10th-grade student, for four hours per week.
• Approved Diane McAllen to serve as a consultant for the Food Service Department, effective Sept. 1 through June 30, 2026, at a rate of $37.50 per hour.
• Approved a shared services agreement between the district and the Lakeview Local School District for the 2025-2026 school year.
