WHAT: Trumbull County MetroParks board meeting Aug. 15

PRESENT: Jessica Gault, Shawn Pompelia and Allen Seman

The board:

• Entered into a partnership with Howland trustees to pave the road at the main township park from the ballfields to the back of the park when the township has its paving work done this fall. The board said they will see what costs are involved.

• Approved seeking quotes for the restriping of the parking lot at Bolindale Park and parking spots at the main park.

• Announced the main township park will be closed Oct. 9 for an All-American Cross-Country event.

• Approved allowing local flag football to use the main park for games for seven weeks starting Sept. 6.

• Rescheduled the next meeting at 10 a.m. Sept. 19 at the park building.
