Mosquito pool positive for West Nile

WEST FARMINGTON — Another mosquito pool in Trumbull County tested positive for West Nile Virus, according to the Trumbull County Combined Health District.

The mosquito pool was collected at Hillside Cemetery in West Farmington on July 30. To date, there have been zero human cases of West Nile Virus in Trumbull County. However, with the presence of a positive West Nile Virus mosquito pool, the health department is asking the community to be vigilant and guard against being bitten by a mosquito.
