WARREN — A 75-year-old Ravenna man faces dozens of charges following a Trumbull County grand jury indictment.

Danny M. McFadden was charged with 28 counts of sex-related crimes involving children, with allegations spanning from November 2017 to May 2025, primarily involving a victim who was 5 at the time of the first offense. He is being held at the Portage County jail because of a reported conflict with a Trumbull County jail employee. McFadden’s pretrial hearing is scheduled Wednesday.

McFadden, originally arrested by Niles police in June and charged with five counts of rape, now faces 17 counts of first-degree rape, eight counts of third-degree gross sexual imposition, and three counts of fourth-degree gross sexual imposition, according to the indictment.

The charges of first-degree rape and third-degree gross sexual imposition involve a minor under 13, with the grand jury finding that McFadden “purposefully compelled the victim to submit by force or threat of force.”

The fourth-degree gross sexual imposition charges, covering periods from Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2019, do not specify the victim’s age as under 13.

The Trumbull County grand jury also issued indictments against several dozen other individuals on various charges:

• Stephanie Swegan, Oak Knoll Avenue SE, Warren, cruelty against companion animals.

• Thomas R. Leimkuehler, Oak Knoll Avenue SE, Warren, cruelty against companion animals.

• Tarah L. Desatnik, Diehl Road, North Jackson, possession of cocaine and possession of heroin.

• Isaiah Gilbert, North Road SE, Warren, failure to comply with order / signal of police officer.
