Bridge work closes area roads
Hewitt Gifford Road between Salem Warren Road and Palmyra Road in Lordstown Village and Warren Township will be closed for bridge replacement work today through Sept. 1.
The recommended detour for motorists is north on Palmyra Road and south on state Route 45.
Also, Barclay Messerly Road between Eagle Creek Road and Nelson Mosier Road in Braceville will be closed today through Dec. 12 for bridge replacement.
The recommended detour is west on Nelson Mosier Road, north on Braceville Robinson Road and east on Eagle Creek Road.
