WARREN — A man was injured in a shooting Thursday afternoon in Warren and police are investigating the matter as an alleged felonious assault.

According to a Warren police report, officers responded to a local hospital around 11:07 p.m. after reports of a male victim with gunshot wounds to his leg and foot.

The incident allegedly occurred around 3:04 p.m. Thursday at an apartment complex in the 2000 block of Parkman Road NW.

Police observed the victim’s injuries and gathered information for a report.

The suspect remains unidentified and no arrests have been made.

Police noted that a firearm was used in the alleged assault, but the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
