WHAT: Village council meeting Monday

PRESENT: Robert Bond, Ernie Bowen, Lamar Liming, Jamie Moseley, Jessica Blank, Howard Sheely and Mayor Jackie Woodward

Council:

• Heard from Woodward, who received a letter from the county engineer’s office regarding engineering services and construction management the office can legally provide to Lordstown Village for various road projects. She said the village can receive the engineer’s office services by paying for them.

• Approved selling to the estate of Theodore Drewek his police duty handgun weapon for $1. Drewek was a police officer for Lordstown who died in 2024.

• Approved the purchase of a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado at $105,947 from Sarchione Chevrolet in Randolph for the road department.

• Approved and swore into office Gregory Tackett and Cory Graham as new full-time police officers.

• Approved Jacob Gearhart for summer help for the water and sewer departments, effective July 7, and promotion of Michael Fuchilla to water foreman, effective June 23.

• Accepted the resignation of police dispatcher Ted Harrell, effective July 25, and to advertise for a replacement.

• Approved payment not to exceed $65,000 for the Foxconn facility expansion oversight plan review with the cost reimbursable to the village.
