WHAT: City council meeting Monday

PRESENT: Reynald Paolone, Thomas Grumley, Jeff Kay, Mark Standohar, Keith Schubert, Lily Martuccio, John Moliterno, Sam Zirafi and Mayor Mark Zuppo

Council:

• Heard from resident Vernon Mitchell of West Prospect Street about the need for improvements at Hartzell Park.

• Heard from Zuppo the new disc golf course at Liberty Park was used for a recent tournament with 77 participants.

• Heard from Zuppo, who requested legislation be acted on at the next meeting to oppose House Bill 335 and its effect on property taxes.

• Set a zoning meeting at 11 a.m. July 23 in the city building conference room with MS Consultants on zoning updates.

• Set a finance meeting to discuss income tax collections and disbursements at 6:30 p.m. July 28.
