Staff report
BLOOMFIELD — The Bloomfield-Mespo Board of Education has named Kevin Hogue as the
new high school principal, effective Friday, on a two-year contract.
Hogue will be paid $79,500 the first year and $81,000 the second year.
He will replace Jim Henson, who left for a principal position with Cardinal Local Schools in Middlefield. District Treasurer Rob Hollada said the board will have a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Friday to officially approve Hogue’s hiring.
The board has also approved a one-year agreement with the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office for a school resource officer for the two school buildings at $83,639.
The first day for students is Aug. 20.
