TCTC board approves contract for second phase of addition
CHAMPION — The Trumbull Career and Technical Center board has approved a guaranteed maximum pricing for the second agreement with DeSalvo Construction Company for the addition to the southeastern corner of the building.
Treasurer Cody Holecko said the previous costs were for the first phase of groundwork, getting the land ready and initial testing
He said the overall project cost is approximately $6.6 million, which includes concrete work, masonry and electrical work, with bids for the project’s second phase expected this summer.
The addition will house industrial technology programs, STEAM classes and a health clinic. Holecko said the project is expected to be completed in August 2026.
The board also at a recent special meeting hired Jacob Bannister as a welding instructor, replacing Robert Olesky, who retired.
