Patrol probes Champion crash
CHAMPION — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle, head-on crash that injured three people Saturday evening.
A Champion Fire Department report states fire crews were called out at 6:30 p.m. Saturday for a traffic crash with entrapment in the 5500 block of Mahoning Avenue NW near Dollar General and south of state Route 305.
Champion safety crews and bystanders helped get people out of the vehicles, the report states. Three people were transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Champion was assisted by fire crews from Bazetta, Bristol and Howland.
