LIBERTY — A Cleveland man was arrested after a manager at a Liberty motel reported a naked man in the lobby about 10:25 p.m. Thursday.

Robert E. Cherry, 47, was booked into the Trumbull County jail on charges of public indecency, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass. An arraignment for Cherry has not been scheduled in Girard Municipal Court.

According to a Trumbull County 911 report, a woman reported that a naked man with a cane was trying to get into the lobby of Hotel 30, 1600 Motor Inn Drive.

Cherry was detained by police about 10:40 p.m., the report states, and taken to Trumbull County Jail, where he remained as of Friday evening.
