WARREN — A child pornography case out of Weathersfield leads the 29 indictments handed up Wednesday by a Trumbull County grand jury.

Thomas Shepherd III, 26, of Poplar Street in Girard, was charged with 10 counts, including nine counts of nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images and one second-degree felony of illegal use of minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.

Shepherd, who remains in Trumbull County jail after his arrest June 29, is scheduled for arraignment this morning before Common Pleas Judge Ronald J. Rice.

The case was investigated beginning in September 2021 by Weathersfield police.

The grand jury also handed up two sealed indictments.

Arraignments of the following felony cases will be scheduled within the next two weeks:

Angela J. Ferris, 45, 239 School Street, Hubbard, third-degree felony OVI with prior felony conviction and vehicle forfeiture;

William M. Higley, 58, 225 W. Third St., Niles, two counts third-degree felony OVI with prior felony conviction and vehicle forfeiture;

Pierre L. Williams, 31, 3256 Williamsburg St. NW, Warren, having weapons while under disability;

Robert D. Russell, 38, 412 Emerson Ave., Farrell, Pa., tampering with evidence, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer, obstructing official business and resisting arrest;

Adonis A. Gantt Sr., 37, 6871 Downs Road NW, Warren, receiving stolen property;

Danerio T. Phifer, 22, 4313 Helena Ave., Youngstown, receiving stolen property;

Nathan Chillog, 21, in care of Trumbull County jail, three counts gross sexual imposition;

Mykaal C. Parker, 27, in care of Trumbull County jail, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer;

Hunter Hauck, 18, in care of Trumbull County jail, three counts rape and two counts kidnapping;

Brandon J. Leech, 30, in care of Trumbull County jail, having weapons while under disability with forfeiture, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle with forfeiture, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer and tampering with evidence;

John R. Franklin Jr., 37, in care of Trumbull County jail, two counts domestic violence;

Joshua W. Jackson, 43, 5318 Youngstown Warren Road, Niles, aggravated possession of drugs;

Dale Polya, 28, in care of Trumbull County jail, failure to notify sheriff of change of address;

Daniel Hiles, 68, in care of Trumbull County jail, two counts breaking and entering and attempted breaking and entering;

Kenta D. Pratt, 36, 1-719 Hampden Ave., Cleveland, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer;

Matthew P. Traz, 48, 575 Belmont Ave. NE, Warren, aggravated possession of drugs;

Melanie N. Walker, 33, 1344 Parkman Road, Warren, possession of cocaine;

Yolanda R. Adair, 34, 477 Martin St. SW, Warren, endangering children;

Keairra M. Jones, 32, in care of Trumbull County jail, receiving stolen property;

Francisco A. Luciano, 23, in care of Trumbull County jail, having weapons while under disability and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.

The following misdemeanors were remanded to lower courts:
