Niles man, 63, charged with indecent exposure
NILES — A Niles man was booked into the Trumbull County jail on Monday after allegedly exposing himself to his neighbor for the third time this year.
Police were dispatched 9 a.m. Monday to Roosevelt Avenue, where a woman said her neighbor, Michael Livi, 63, made an inappropriate gesture toward her as she walked to get another neighbor’s trash can from the curb.
The woman told police that this was not the first incident in which Livi exposed himself to someone in the neighborhood. According to reports, police also were called to the neighborhood on July 25, 2021, and March 17 of this year.
In the July report, a woman delivering papers told police that Livi exposed himself to her each morning. The report notes she just wanted police to be aware, but did not want to press charges.
In March, police were called when a neighbor said Livi had exposed himself to her. The report lists no other details of the incident.
Livi has been charged with indecent exposure, which could carry up to 60 days in jail and a $500 fine. He is set to appear 8:30 a.m. Sept. 14 in Niles Municipal Court.
