Gunman holds up Bristol gas station
BRISTOLVILLE — Trumbull County sheriff’s deputies are investigating an armed robbery that occurred about 9 p.m. Monday at Edna’s gas station at 6144 state Route 45.
When deputies arrived at the station, they learned the robber had fled north in a silver-gray mid-sized SUV.
The report states the robber stood about 6-foot-3 and wore a mask, an orange-brown hoodie, dark-colored pants and brown shoes, according to security camera footage from the store.
The bandit was holding a silver handgun when he came upon the clerk and demanded that she give him all the money from the register. The robber pushed the clerk to the ground, the report states, but did not take any money. He also herded two other people back into the store while holding the gun, the report states.
Deputies could not get an image of the vehicle’s license plate but were trying to get any possible security footage from neighboring residences.
