Drug defendants get prison terms
WARREN — Two Warren drug defendants on Thursday were sent to prison by a Trumbull County Common Pleas judge.
Wilson Adams III, 19, of Woodbine Avenue SE, was given a one-year prison term by Judge Ronald Rice after the defendant said he was kicked out of the Northeast Ohio Community Alternative Program for being “aggressive and threatening.”
Adams was sent to NEOCAP and placed on probation in August after pleading guilty to possession of crack cocaine and aggravated possession of drug charges.
Rice gave Mark Y. Lacey, 51, of Forrest Street NW, a seven-month prison term after Lacey pleaded guilty to a possession of crack cocaine charge. Court records show Lacey was charged by Warren police in April.
