Man faces 4 felonies after crime spree

WARREN — A Wellington man faces four felony charges and two misdemeanors in connection to a crime spree where a Vienna store was robbed and then a Brookfield police cruiser was damaged.

Michael Reinhold, 25, was one of 53 individuals indicted by Wednesday’s report of the Trumbull County grand jury.

Reinhold faces charges of robbery, assault, two counts of vandalism, assault on a peace officer, domestic violence and resisting arrest.

The defendant, who is free on bond, is expected to be arraigned next week before Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge W. Wyatt McKay.

The case resulted from a June 22 incident where Brookfield police investigated an assault at a Greenwich Court home. As police were taking the suspect into custody, officers said the man began kicking the rear door of the cruiser, with reports saying damages were estimated about $2,400.
