Free senior expo set in Liberty

LIBERTY — The inaugural Boomers & Beyond Senior Expo, presented by the Tribune Chronicle and Town Crier Community Newspapers, will bring programs and products geared toward people over the age of 55 to the Metroplex Expo Center Aug. 6.

The expo runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free and open to the public. There will be speakers, health testing such as hearing and glaucoma tests, and door prizes.

Everyone will be given a bag upon entry to collect information and giveaways from on-site vendors. Information on veterans and widow benefits and senior activity centers like SCOPE also will be available.

Box lunches from O’Charley’s will be available for purchase.

Co-sponsors of the expo are A to Z Dependable Services in Niles and Joseph Eye & Laser Center in Brookfield.
