Aug. 27, 6 p.m. – Heidi N. Petrilla, 39, of Cortland, was arrested on a warrant through Warren Municipal Court. Petrilla was turned over to the Warren Police Department.

Aug. 25, 7:10 p.m. – A hit-skip traffic crash was reported at Top Notch Diner.

Aug. 24, 4:05 p.m. – Timothy W. Johnson, 39, of Warren, was charged with driving under suspension and with expired plates. Johnson was released from the scene with a citation and a court date.

10:06 p.m. – Boyle Construction on Niles Road was broken into, though it was not known at the time of report if anything was missing.

1:30 a.m. – Someone stole a purse at Leon’s Bar on Niles Cortland Road.

Aug. 8, 12:04 a.m. – Dale M. Anderson, 3946 Boston Ave., was charged with domestic violence in the 3900 block of Boston Ave.

9 a.m. – Burglary was reported in the 2800 block of Bolin Avenue, where a residence was forced open and six shotguns, a PlayStation and games, and a four-wheeler were stolen.

Midnight – Breaking and entering in the 2700 block of Gretchen Drive. The man door to a garage was forced open, though it was unknown if anything was missing at the time of report.

Aug. 7, 10:30 p.m. – Someone broke into a locked vehicle and stole a wallet out of the glove box at 1976 Elm Road.

2 a.m. – Menacing reported at 1281 Roseway Drive.

Aug. 6, 11:30 p.m. – A man reported he was robbed at gunpoint of about $130 in cash at the intersection of Larchmont and Deitz Road. An investigation is ongoing.

Aug. 5, 3:30 p.m. – A dome tent and bike were stolen from the front yard of a residence in the 3900 block of Basswood Road.

1:20 p.m. – Anthony Frasca, 666 Niles Cortland Road, was charged with domestic violence at his residence.

8:32 a.m. – Several blank checks reported stolen from a business checkbook in the 1500 block of Niles Cortland Road.

Aug. 4, 8 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle in the 2100 block of Overland Drive was entered and a set of speakers were stolen.

Noon – Someone stole 120 feet of copper ground wire from an Ohio Edison substation at 1780 Thomas Road.

Aug. 3, 11:36 p.m. – Dustin Bell, 1053 Johnson Plank Road, was arrested on an active warrant through the Bazetta Police Department for domestic violence and was cited for drug paraphernalia.

Midnight – Burglary reported at 8700 block Warwick Road; a large amount of currency was stolen as well as an unknown amount of precious stones.

Aug. 2, 5:23 p.m. – Someone short-changed Tractor Supply on Elm Road.

Aug 1, 6 a.m. – Utility trailer reported stolen from the 3500 block of Basswood Avenue.

July 31, 10 p.m. – A saxophone and laptop computer were reported stolen from a locked vehicle in the 3800 block of Flory Avenue.

3:30 p.m. – Levi Terrance Hymes, 98 South Whitney Ave., was arrested on a warrant through Trumbull County for larceny and cited with shoplifting at Super Kmart on Niles Cortland Road.

12:30 a.m. – Someone broke into Bud’s Car Wash on East Market Street and stole money and coins from the money machine.

11 a.m. – Resident at 32 Mahoning Court reported someone shot BBs at his vehicle.

10:45 a.m. – A Peeping Tom was reported in the 300 block of Washington Street, where woman told police about 10:45 p.m. Monday that a man she didn’t know was jumping up and down and looking over her fence.

10:34 a.m. – Employees of the Newton Falls Water Distribution Department reported someone defecated on the floor of their restroom while they were out working.

10:07 a.m. – Report of an unruly juvenile urinating out a window at 317 Garfield.
