Two Trumbull County men denied parole
A man convicted of beating to death his girlfriend in Hubbard in 1994 was denied parole by the state parole board last week. Alfonsia Perry, 68, will remain at the Richland Correctional Institution until at least his next hearing in January 2029, according to the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office. Perry was sentenced in November 1994 to a term of 20-years-to-life in prison after being convicted in the fatal beating of girlfriend Jeanette Purdue at a home on Rosser Avenue in Hubbard.
